HDFC lets Infinia and Diners Black holders buy ALL Accor+ Explorer for 10,000 reward points until 17 December 2026
HDFC's top cards can reportedly redeem 10,000 reward points for an ALL Accor+ Explorer membership through SmartBuy until 17 December 2026. It carries the 30 status nights that make you ALL Accor Gold, but not the two Stay Plus free nights a paid membership includes.
HDFC Bank has added a new redemption for its top cards: 10,000 reward points for a year of ALL Accor+ Explorer, Accor's paid dining and hotel membership for Asia Pacific and the UAE. As first reported by Live From A Lounge on 6 October 2026, the redemption runs until 17 December 2026 and is open to five products: Infinia, Infinia Metal, Diners Club Black, Diners Club Black Metal and BizBlack Metal.
Accor runs a dedicated sign-up page for "select HDFC Bank Credit Card Holders", which confirms the program exists and what the membership contains. The points price, the card list and the end date come from Live From A Lounge alone, so treat them as reported until HDFC publishes its own terms.
How it works
You redeem the points on SmartBuy and receive a coupon code, then complete the sign-up at Accor's HDFC page (accorplus.com/in/hdfc). That is the whole flow, according to the report.
What you get, and what you do not
| HDFC points redemption | Paid Explorer membership | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | 10,000 HDFC reward points (reported) | ₹23,199 (reported list price) |
| 30 ALL Accor status nights each year | Yes | Yes |
| 30% off food, 15% off drinks at participating restaurants in Asia Pacific and the UAE | Yes | Yes |
| Red Hot Rooms member rates and 15% off Accor stays | Yes | Yes |
| Two Stay Plus complimentary nights | No | Yes |
The 30 status nights are the real prize. Accor's own page states they guarantee ALL Accor Gold or higher, and they are credited automatically each membership year. For someone with no Accor status, that is Gold on day one; for an existing Gold member, it is a large step toward Platinum.
The missing Stay Plus nights are why this is not the same product as the paid membership. A large share of the paid tier's appeal is those two free nights, and the points version strips them out.
Is it worth 10,000 points?
That depends on what else your points are doing. HDFC points on these cards already have strong uses, including airline and hotel transfers and SmartBuy flight and hotel bookings, so the honest test is to price 10,000 points at what they would fetch on your next best redemption and ask whether Accor Gold and the dining discount are worth more than that to you this year.
Good fit: you stay at Accor properties in India or Southeast Asia a few times a year, eat at hotel restaurants in big cities, or want Gold for upgrades and late checkout without running the stay count.
Poor fit: you rarely stay with Accor, or you were going to buy the paid membership anyway for the two Stay Plus nights. In the second case, the points route gives you less.
What to do
If you hold one of the five cards and Accor is in your travel pattern, redeem before 17 December and before HDFC changes its mind about the price. If you do not, let it pass; there is no reason to burn points on status you will not use.
See what your HDFC points are worth on each redemption before you spend them, and compare hotel transfer routes side by side.
